On December 16, 2021, the circuit court granted Danny Mullin’s motion to dismiss a breach of contract case that sought compensatory damages, attorneys’ fees and defense costs. After considering the pleadings and oral argument of counsel, the Court granted the motion concluding that the doctrine of claim preclusion barred the lawsuit under Wisconsin’s common law compulsory cross-claim rule. On March 14, 2022, the deadline for any appeal expired.
