Ms. Jacobs is a partner with Crivello, Nichols & Hall with more than 20 years of experience as a litigator and advisor. Her primary areas of practice include employment law, civil rights, school law and ERISA defense.
Ms. Jacobs’s employment law practice encompasses:
Ms. Jacobs defends municipalities and individual police officers in Section 1983 actions in federal court and municipalities in state court actions. She also defends employers and insurers in ERISA-related litigation in both the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin and the District of Minnesota (admitted pro hac vice).
Ms. Jacobs has also represented school districts in litigation and provides advice on issues relating to students, operations, and employment, including issues on teacher non-renewals, open records requests, and social media. She presides over expulsion and teacher non-renewal hearings.
